I told her I would help her sew her costume (pattern picked by school) and it was a fairly involved process -- both because the pattern was intricate, using nasty sheers that are a bear to work with, and because Jess had never done such complicated sewing and needed to be walked through each step.
We even made her a hat/headress covered in leaves and feathers and modified leggings to look like bark.
It turned out quite cute but best of all Jess has been so excited and proud!!!
Two days until opening night!
