Mothers Day was a red-letter day. Leslie, Sarah and Kristin headed to PC and enjoyed the beach for an all too brief interlude. It was a rare getaway, as Sarah usually works weekends.

The girls planned a picnic at Barview, where Leslie spent countless hours as a child, at the beach and at the campground. It was windy but we found a sheltered spot behind some dunes.

We didn't do much except hang out, eat, read, walk around and repeat. The sun shone, mostly, and it was a lovely two days.
