It's been 2 weeks since we got Luna and we have already had some great adventures. Overall she is adjusting very well to being in our family and house. She loves attention and will stand next to you for a really long time as long as you keep petting her. She is skittish and we are doing our best to acclimate her to the house and goings on. She was great with all of our company over the holiday.
She had her first adventure to the dog park today. She was so excited! She did fantastic with other dogs and loved being off the leash to run and play. For whatever reason she had a great time bouncing around the chipped wood piles. She would run away from it, turn fast, run back to it, leap on top of it and stop as quickly as possible, again and again.
She is a 2, or so, year old Great Pyrenees and Maremma mix. She will be about 75 pounds or so. She is 10lbs. under weight now and we are trying to get her back up to her ideal weight with lots of dog food. Below is her first car trip with us. She is loaded up and ready to come home with us from the rescue.
On the left, learning how to sit with Leslie. On the right in the 'High Hide' halfway between the floors at our house. This is her favorite spot. It was one of Kodiak's as well.
