Dawn has risen

September resulted in the first extended visit from Dawn since we moved to Portland and she to Utah. We enjoyed just hanging out but also tried to include a few fun things, like going to Chapman School to watch the swifts filling the chimney at dusk. It was quite an impressive sight.

This was Dawn's first visit as her true self and it was a great experience for us all. We invited friends and family for a barbecue at the house; Jason made it up.

We attended a blues music event at Revolution Hall (and visited the rooftop bar, of course) of the California Honeydrops.

And Jess, Charlie, Travis and Dawn all joined B at Comic Con.

Best gluten-free pizza in town, dontcha know?

We also hit up The Portland Art Museum, which had a great exhibit of Asian art.
