They were both Victorian/vintage mysteries, she got to try out her English accents in both. Quite a few family members were there: Melodie came from down south, TJ was in town, Brumbaugh continent from Washington. Jess must feel like quite the celebrity when that happens!
Earth Day found us, as usual, at Redmond's big event. Jess and Brian were working at the food booth and my chickens and me were volunteered at the Chicken Poo Bingo game booth. Everilde was a star, not taking too long so folks got bored but not going too soon. A just-right pooper.
And early May was Frag Day, in case you didn't get the memo. Brian headed to Portland to join all his adult friends who act like children -- sorry, I mean play video games all weekend. It took me back to last year, when Kristin's knee surgery was the same weekend and the time felt much more dramatic, to say the least.
