Melodie and Ken came on New Year's Day for a quick overnight visit. We had a lovely dinner and came home to play games. Late in the 30-degree evening the power went out. We stoked up the fire and broke out the candles and lanterns and stayed up late paying Biblio. We expected a very cold night but luckily the power came back on in the wee hours and we didn't freeze.
By that weekend, Jess was feeling better and we picked up Kristin to have a girls lunch/pedi day!
