Brian asked for tickets to a cool Portland event for Christmas and after I found out that opera tickets were $400 he got tickets to a Blazer game. It was quite an interesting experience. A lot of die-hard fans in black and red, full of beer and enthusiasm. Earlier in the year we went to see a Portland Thunder football game at the Rose Garden, taking the train there and walking home from the station at midnight. A true big-city experience, to be sure.
